OUR GLOBAL FAMILY
Our garments wouldn't exist if it weren't for the passion and dedication from our teams around the world.
Our garments wouldn't exist if it weren't for the passion and dedication from our teams around the world.

They're the ones who mill, weave, print and sew our fabrics, and work hand-in-hand with our design team to bring our visions to life. That's why we make sure the factories we use are places we're proud to call part of the Spell family.

We've always asked our factories to abide by a strict code of conduct (below), outlining things like health and safety, paying our makers above the legal wage, fair working hours, voluntary overtime always being compensated at premium rate, never any child labour etc, but we are proud that in addition to this, our garment factories are verified ethical.

Independent certification bodies (WRAP, SEDEX, BSCI & Fairtrade) who specialise in social and ethical standards conduct annual site inspections and worker interviews at our factories to make sure our wider Spell family have access to the best conditions possible.

We have a total of 14 factories that sit at the tier 1 stage of our supply chain of which 86% have 3rd party ethical accreditation and 36% have environmental accreditation. Our aim is 100% ethical accreditation by the end of 2018.
